{ sew lovely : the cape coat }

I've been away for a few days and I'm working on a post about that (to make up for the posts I didn't write for NaBloPoMo over the last few days) but in the meantime, my first instalment of Sew Lovely. In this section, I'll share some sewing projects I want to take on (this will help me remember them, too).

This weekend, I saw a woman wearing a cape coat and I remembered, I've always wanted one. They have such a chic, classic silhouette. 

I found this tutorial and pattern and I'm going to attempt to make one before next fall.
