{ thinking outside the boxes }

A few nights ago, D and I were having a late dinner after putting E to bed when he surprised me by letting me know he planned to get out of the house on Sunday afternoon with E. 

This would give me an afternoon off mommy duty for the first time. His thinking: it would finally allow me to unpack my boxes and settle into our new home. Best news of my week aside from E learning to roll onto his tummy (action shot below)!

Today was the day! I had a super productive day working on putting things in their rightful place. Still a few more boxes to go but I'm about 80% there. Looking forward to kicking the boxes to the curb on recycling day (or to the basement in the case of the reusable bins - ha ha).
